Adding Images

Have a special image that will make your presentation stand out?  At emaze we know how important images are to your presentation and therefore have enabled you to add images to your presentation through a multitude of routes.

Adding Images 

  1. In Edit mode, select Image from the object toolbar at the top of screen.



    In the Image window:



    Browse
    your computer for the image you want to add or copy and paste the url of the image from the internet and click Add.


  2. Drag an existing image or selected images from a computer directory directly to the slide.


  3. Copy and paste an image from a desktop application like “Paint”, “Photoshop” etc.


  4. Right click on an image from the web and choose “Copy image link”. Paste the link directly onto the slide.


  5. Select an image from a slide (in any presentation) and click COPY (or Ctrl+C). On the same slide or on a different slide, click PASTE (or Ctrl+V).

Replace an existing image

Select an image and click the Change Image icon from the image toolbar.


In the Change Image window:


Browse your computer for the image you want to add or copy the url of the image from the internet and click Update.

Changing the Image's size

Select an image and drag its corners to the desired size.

Image styling and beyond

Select an image and the image toolbar will appear.



 Styles: Changes the colors, background colors, and adds borders.

 Change Image: See above

 Crop: Crops a part of the image.

 Border width: Sets the border width.

 Border color: Sets the border color.

 Effects: Sets special effects to the image.

 Opacity: Sets the opaqueness of the image.

 Hyperlink: Add a hyperlink to an image (Please see “Hyperlinking an Object”).

 Target: Add in a target object that you can link to another slide.

 Audio: Add audio to your presentation (Please see “Adding Audio to a Presentation”).

 Arrange:  Arranges the image in relation to other objects on the slide.

 Lock: Locks the image to prevent it from being moved or deleted. 

 Rotate: Rotates the image.

 3D: Applies 3D motions to the image.

Copying, Pasting and Deleting Images
Copy: Select the image and click Copy or Ctrl+C

Paste: Click Paste or Ctrl+V to paste your copied image

Delete: Select the image and click Delete or the delete keyboard button

Select more than one image by keeping the left mouse button pressed and then dragging the mouse around the images that you want to select.

Please note that you can copy and paste onto the same slide, a different slide and even to a different slide in another presentation.

Moving Images Around the Slide
Select the image with the left mouse button and drag the selected image.  You can also use the keyboard arrow buttons. For more exact positioning use the Ctrl + keyboard arrow buttons.

Select more than one image by keeping the left mouse button pressed and then dragging the mouse around the images that you want to select.
